I designed this necklace at the age of 45.  At that time I was feeling distinctly 'in the middle' of my life - shaped by my not-insignificant past, yet still yearning towards my future. I have, since then, been mindful of this feeling of in-between-ness, and aware that it is perhaps just an illusion. What is youth? Age? The pieces in this series play on this not knowing… a bit of fun with shape, texture, with what is fluid and what rigid, the way that all of these elements can co-exist in one piece.

This necklace partners beautifully with the Moon Crescent Ring - White, the Then and Now Earrings - White and/or the Then and Now Bracelet - White.
