- .925 Recycled Sterling Silver and Red Saga Seeds
These burnt-umber Saga Seeds are miniature vessels for life. I have found different versions of this seed on the forest floor in Nicaragua and on temple grounds in Bali. They form in the spiraled pods from the giant sandalwood tree. The pods turn brown, coil up and split open as they ripen. revealing these small bright red seeds. They are extremely strong and waterproof.
These earrings are playful yet elegant. Silver covers most of the middle seed, hinting at a waning moon. Meanwhile the bottom seed is full and red, aside from its bright silver bezel. The top silver circle is gently hammered, offering lightness.
