Like the other designs in the Dune Collection, this one is a play on texture. Here, polished, hammered and brushed silver remind me of sands on a Dune ruffled by wind. Three silver bowls nest as one. The top little bowl has a bright hammered texture. The middle is darkly oxidized with scratched lines of bright silver showing through. The bottom bowl holds the other two with a broad, softly brushed surface. Each moves freely, while remaining cupped together by the ring that joins them at their top.
