I have found different versions of this burnt-umber Saga seed on the forest floor in Nicaragua and on temple grounds in Bali. They form in the spiraled pods of the giant sandalwood tree. The pods turn brown, coil up and split as they ripen. revealing these small bright strong little treasures.
There are 2 ways to wear this earring; with the heart side facing forward, or with the other side - a full circle of red - facing forward (see third photo), slide off the silver oval with seed, flip it over and feed it back on.
