These burnt-umber Saga Seeds are miniature vessels for life. They form in the spiraled pods from the giant sandalwood tree. The pods turn brown, coil up and split open as they ripen. revealing these small bright red seeds that then fall to the forest floor. They are strong and durable. The circular spiraling shape of this pendant reminded me of a Native American Dream Catcher. Dream Catchers are used to filter out bad dreams and only allow good thoughts to enter the mind as we sleep. Here, a red seed is suspended inside two silver rings. The pendant hangs on black leather. The two-ring-and-seed clasp can double as a pendant if you hang it on your front (and remove the pendant), or can simply serve as a beautiful (and adjustable) clasp.
