These burnt-umber Saga Seeds are miniature vessels for life. I have found different versions of this seed on the forest floor in Nicaragua and on temple grounds in Bali. They form in the spiraled pods from the giant sandalwood tree. The pods turn brown, coil up and split open as they ripen. revealing these small bright red seeds. They are extremely strong and waterproof. This design is a bit of sweetness in a silver nest. The burnt umber saga seed is encircled in a bright silver bezel. The silver bowl in which it nests is oxidized and etched. The seed swings freely and is not static.
