These burnt-umber Saga Seeds are miniature vessels for life. I have found different versions of this seed on the forest floor in Nicaragua and on temple grounds in Bali. They form in the spiraled pods from the giant sandalwood tree. The pods turn brown, coil up and split open as they ripen. revealing these small bright red seeds. They are extremely strong and waterproof. With this necklace, you have the option of turning the heart to face yours, so that the front reveals the simple burnt-umber circle of the seed rather than the heart. The chain is 16" long, adjustable up to 17.5" long.
